I found this great little porcelain egg with an owl sitting on a branch hand-painted on to it. I bought it in a second hand shop where the man who owns it pretty much just makes up a price off the top of his head for the stuff in his store. I think the egg may be pretty unique and I was wondering how do I find out how much it is really worth? Is there a website I could go to? Any help is appreciated!

i have various pieces of oak furniture, hand-painted china dishes, cups, etc. & also glassware, vases, etc.

I’m hand-painting wine and beer glasses for my mom and dad for Christmas. My dad’s favorite team is the Vikings, so I’ll paint his glasses with that theme. (I’m not sure if I’ll do ALL of them Vikings, or just a couple. . .) Can anyone think of funny quotes to put on his glasses?

For my moms, I got fun girly colors with beads to put ont he bottom of each glass. She’s a wacky, crazy, awesome mom and I want to put some fun or loveable sayings on here. Know any?

I bought a house recently that surprisingly had an extremely religious scene embedded in a door, image approx 3ft x 2ft (so serene, the equivalent could be compared to a window from a church) depicted in a lead, painted, stained glass window. I don’t know how old it is, but believe it is potentially 100 years old due to the age of the house. It is amazing, but I’m not sure how to clean it, or even how to value it. What do you suggest I do, to restore it and also to establish it’s origin?

I’m a Chinese vendor of color glazed ceramic paintings, I used to sell it to a US chain store by a chance which its buyer came to China, see my products by his own eyes and feel it by hand.

But I have difficult to present my products to other new foreign buyers only by emails and pictures. Mainly because,I think, I don’t know how to express the difference of the color glaze with common oil paints in English well. And I believe it is not a mass product, so finding a correct buyer who knows it is very difficult.

The patterns by colored glaze only form in kiln. The glaze makes the paintings look like color glass paintings. It’s totally different with hand paint oil paints on ceramic dinner wares or cups.
